About John.
John has been lecturing in Creative Writing since 1999.
John is an experienced facilitator of creative writing classes. Four of his pupils have published their own body of work. Two poetry books, two collections of short stories and a novel.
John has given readings and lectures in places as far apart as Rathlin Island and Boston, Mass.
John’s novel LINE OF FLIGHT was launched on 5 April 2006.
His collection of short stories THE FLY POOL was published in 2003.
He is the editor / join editor of HOMETOWN (ABC Publications) and BREAKING THE SKIN (Black Mountain Press)
His stories and poems have been published across the world, and shortlisted in several literary competitions. An earlier novel was serialised in a literary magazine.
He has worked with a professional film production company on two film scripts.
He has published travel articles and written a paper on the Irish Publishing Industry
